Schon seit vielen Jahren beschäftigt sich die Künstlerin Deniz Hasenöhrl mit der unterschiedlichen Wahrnehmung von Identitätsgefühl von Menschen. Sie versucht Muster und Verhaltensweisen zu identifizieren, die zu Ausgrenzung, Isolation und Abspaltung auf psychischer, zwischenmenschlicher wie auch gesellschaftlicher Ebene führen. Wie stark und auf Welche Weise wird ein Individuum von gesellschaftlichen und kulturellen Normen geprägt und geformt? Was für eine Rolle spielt unsere Wahrnehmung von Raum und Zeit dabei, sich innerhalb dieser Normen authentisch erleben und entfalten zu können?
Mit ihren abstrakten Bildern visualisiert Deniz Hasenöhrl innere Welten, die in jedem von uns existieren, sich aber nicht mit dem Verstand begreifen oder kontrollieren lassen. Sie schafft in ihren Werken Räume, in denen Zeit nicht als Linie verstanden werden und Identität einzig und allein über die Essenz des Seins erfahren werden kann.
Im Sinne André Bretons, der in seinem „Manifeste du surréalisme (1924)“ eine assoziative, unkontrollierte Kunst, unabhängig von rationalen Strukturierungsprozessen forderte, wachsen die Bilder von Deniz Hasenöhrl spontan und assoziativ zu bewegten und bewegenden Kompositionen.
Ihr Bild „Spaces II“ gewann den Kunstpreis der Galerie MuniqueART in München. Beim Artig Award in der Galerie Kunstreich in Kempten wurde ihr Werk „Chimalis“ mit dem Publikumspreis ausgezeichnet. Ihre Arbeiten sind in vielen privaten Kollektionen im In- und Ausland vertreten. Einge ihrer Radierungen sind in der Sammlung des Museums „Convento de la Merced“ in Ciudad Real in Spanien zu finden. 2018 wurde Deniz Hasenöhrl in das „Lexikon phantastischer Frauen“ von Prof. Gerhard Habarta, dem Gründer des PhantastenMuseums Wien, aufgenommen.

For many years the artist Deniz Hasenöhrl has been dealing with the different perceptions of people’s sense of identity. She tries to identify patterns and behaviors that lead to exclusion, isolation and separation on a psychological, interpersonal as well as social level. How strongly and in what way is an individual shaped by social and cultural norms? What role does our perception of space and time play in being able to experience and develop authentically within these norms?
With her abstract paintings Deniz Hasenöhrl visualizes inner worlds that exist in each of us, but cannot be understood or controlled with the mind. In her works she creates spaces in which time is not understood as a line and identity can only be experienced through the essence of being.
In the spirit of André Breton, who in his “Manifeste du surréalisme (1924)” called for associative, uncontrolled art, regardless of rational structuring processes, Deniz Hasenöhrl’s pictures grow spontaneously and associatively to moving compositions.
Her painting “Spaces II” won the art award of the MuniqueART gallery in Munich. At the Artig Award in the Galerie Kunstreich in Kempten, her work “Chimalis” was awarded the audience award. Her work is represented in many private collections at home and abroad. Some of her etchings can be found in the collection of the “Convento de la Merced” museum in Ciudad Real in Spain. In 2018 Deniz Hasenöhrl was included in the “Lexicon of Fantastic Women” by Prof. Gerhard Habarta, the founder of the PhantastenMuseum Vienna.
